KUEH KERIA

Ingredients :

500 g sweet potatoes (keledek) ~ boiled and mashed
6 - 8 tablespoons flour a pinch of salt
3 cups oil for frying Coating
1 cup white sugar
1/2 cup water

Method :
1. Mix the mashed sweet potatoes with flour and salt to form a soft dough.
2. Shape it like a ring (like donuts).
3. Fry till golden brown. Take out and put on the kitchen towel.
4. To coat, mix water and sugar. Put in a pan on medium heat and let it reach a sticky consistency.
5. Add in the fried rings and stir to coat evenly.
